Residents have three options: Have the boy scouts pick it up, take it to the Environmental Center, or have your garbage hauler collect it.
Why take your tree to the Environmental Center or have it collected by the Boy Scouts?
Because most haulers who pick up trees take them to a landfill which wastes a natural resource. Check with your hauler to see if they drop them at a landfill or a compost site. All trees dropped off at the Environmental Center or collected by the scouts are composted.
